Diana Veidenthaler
Diana has been a Resident Artist at The Island since it opened in Edinburgh in 2021. Her tattoo work focuses on botanical designs that dynamically flow with the body.
Diana dedicates significant time to other creative projects, all of which incorporate nature in some form. For this exhibition, she chose to photograph the models fully surrounded by and immersed in natural elements. Each image reflects a relationship between the model, their tattoo, and the surrounding landscape.
Diana’s work seeks to evoke a sense of awareness of and appreciation for the world we inhabit, reminding us that beauty and serenity are often closer than we think.
